Human study
An investigation into the mathematical ideal of the human frame, using Renaissance proportion to audit and restore the body's original structural intent.

In this investigation, I prioritize the structural baseline of human anatomy as a diagnostic tool for artistic and somatic representation. My focus lies in the unity of the human frame and the proportional value of the individual, analysing how the body unifies and arranges itself to move through space.

By comparing and contrasting the 'lived' anatomy against the ideal alignment of body linkages, I map the tension between the subject's current survival bracing and its intended geometric integrity.

This rigorous study of the Ideal body and proportion, allows me to uncover the underlying structure of the form, utilizing sketching and structural observation to restore the physical space that the body was born to hold.
